Maurice Steger's Nature Concerti by MPO

Discover the Baroque era’s playful side! Virtuoso Maurice Steger leads the MPO in a concert revealing how composers cleverly mimicked the natural world. From the cheeky croaking of Telemann’s “Frogs”, the chirping “Cricket Symphony” to Vivaldi’s slumbering “Night” and warbling “Goldfinch,” this is a witty, imaginative celebration. Witness the recorder’s virtuosic charm in music that is as inventive as it is delightful.
